Fall Activities

Fall Activities

There are many fun activities to do during the season of fall. Two of my favorite fall activities are apple picking and pumpkin picking. Both apple and pumpkin picking you can do on a farm. When you go apple picking, you walk through rows of apple trees picking the best looking apples. Many people eat the apple off the tree or make apple sauce and apple pies with the apples they pick. When you go pumpkin picking, you walk through sections of pumpkins. There are many different sizes and colors. Once you pick and purchase your pumpkin, many people make Jack-O-Lanterns out of their pumpkins. People carve scary or silly faces into the pumpkins.

  2. I think that this topic would benefit a new immigrant to New York by providing information about the different activities that their peers are likely to be discussing throughout the fall.
