Long Beach Island

One of my favorite vacation spots is located in New Jersey, it is called Long Beach Island. There is so much to do on this island. For example, relax, swim, visit the beach, visit the light house, shop, and sightsee around the island. I love to shop around the island, going to different boutiques and looking at the items sold in the shops. One of my favorite stores is called The Good Life. They sell Alex and Ani Bracelets, different types of jewelry and accessories. My favorite place to go sight seeing is the Barnegat Lighthouse. The lighthouse is located on the north end of the island. I have climbed up the lighthouse once, but have visited the location many times. There are many paths around the lighthouse you can walk. I started going to Long Beach Island in 2011 when I first started dating my fiancé. His family has been going to Long Beach Island since he was born in 1993.

  1. I have been there A friend of mine has a house on Cedar Bonnet Island, which is between Long Beach Island and Manahawkin. That is the part of the Jersey Shore that I like and also further down by Cape May. I lived in South Jersey for 7 years.

  2. Great place to go! I think it is a great read for the students because they can relate to the experience and think of their own favorite vacation spots. It also helps the students to relate to you more and see you as person, not just their teacher.
